I’m based in Nebraska - but I absolutely love to travel for both weddings and portrait sessions! (I am temporarily based in Cleveland, OH).
Travel costs are covered within 50 miles of Giltner, but any weddings or sessions further than 2 hours will require accommodation.
1. Where are you based? Do you travel?
A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required to secure your date. Depending on your session type, the retainer amount varies: weddings require a $500 non-refundable retainer, while portrait sessions of any type require a $100 non-refundable retainer. Once that’s taken care of, your date is officially locked in and reserved just for you.

3. When will we receive our photos?
I know waiting for photos is often the hardest part—but good things are always worth the wait. For weddings, you’ll receive a sneak peek within 48 hours, with your full gallery delivered within 6 weeks. For portrait sessions, your gallery will be ready in approximately 2–4 weeks.
For weddings, we’ll adapt the timeline and use covered or indoor spaces for portraits and family formals. I’ll coordinate with your planner or venue, come prepared with rain-friendly gear, and we can even plan a fun rain session if needed.
For portrait sessions, you may reschedule once at no extra charge (subject to availability), or we can pivot to a covered or indoor location.
4. What if it rains on the day of our session / wedding?
Yep — every delivered image is edited in my signature style for color, exposure, and light retouching.
I don’t deliver RAW files. Think of RAW images like an unpolished draft — they’re meant for behind-the-scenes work, not the final presentation. They look flat, require special software, and don’t reflect the finished artwork you see in my portfolio. What you receive is the fully refined, final version, exactly as intended.
5. Do you edit all the images? Can we have the RAW files?
Absolutely! While I do everything I can to be there for your session or big day, sometimes life throws a curveball.
For sessions, we’ll reschedule for a new day. If I’m ever sick or have an emergency on your wedding day, no worries - I have a trusted network of professional wedding photographers with a similar style and approach. You’ll still be in great hands. Your day is far too important to leave to chance!
